Workforce Development Through Registered Apprenticeships
NJDOL GAINS GRANT
We were honored to be a recipient of NJDOL's GAINS ( Growing Apprenticeships in Non-traditional Sectors) grant for 2023. The GAINS grant was a terrific opportunity for us to build entry level healthcare talent through Registered Apprenticeships across NJ . We focused on meeting the needs of in-demand occupations such as Community Health Workers, Certified Medical Assistants and Certified Nursing Aides. We partnered with Healthcare service organizations in the community ranging from small Community based organizations, Faith based organizations to hospital systems supporting their hiring needs through registered apprenticeships.
USDOL YAI GRANT
We were subcontracted with net.America corp, the designated intermediary for USDOL’s Youth Apprenticeships Intermediary(YAI) grant. YAI focused on creating career opportunities for underserved Youth through registered apprenticeships. We were tasked with outreach across the country to popularize apprenticeships and collaborate with employers promoting registered apprenticeships for entry level positions in healthcare.
